Line Up: Iration, Hi Roots, Micah Brown

Sound check:

I was lucky enough to attend Iration's sound check prior to the show and got a more intimate view and meet and greet with the band. There, the band performed 4 songs for a small group of VIP concert-goers, including a brand-new unreleased song from the group! Although, we were asked not to record the new song, I can share that it was nothing short of amazing. It definitely has the same Iration feel and smooth, melodic reggae sound. I know fans will be very pleased with their new music. In addition to the new song, the crowd requested the band play “Time Bomb”, “Dream”, “Turn Around”, and “Mr. Operator”.

After the performance, the VIP guests lined up for a quick chat and pictures/autographs with the boys. After speaking to keyboardist, Cayson Peterson, I learned that the band has a lot more shows up their sleeves with announcements to come.

Show time:

I arrived early with my group and got the best seat in the house-front row!

“Who is ready to party with Iration on a Saturday night?” frontman Micah Pueschel asked the crowd. Immediately, everyone on the floor exploded with screams.

Iration wrapped up it's final show of their Automatic Winter Tour in Anaheim, CA with a bang! With a sold out crowd, the quintet rocked the stage all night.

Kicking off the show with “Turn Around” from their second album, Time Bomb; Iration rocked with a steady pace and had the crowd roaring. They kept up the pace and the enthusiasm of the crowd with tunes like “Electricity”, “Back Around”, and “Summer Nights”. They played 16 songs total, combining hits from all 3 of their albums. To the crowd’s delight, they even played dubbed-out versions of Bob Marley’s “Is This Love” and Tom Petty’s "Mary Jane’s Last Dance”. Packed with heavy guitar solos throughout the night, the crowd never stopped moving or singing along.

From beginning to end, the performance was 2 hours of pure love, unity, and good vibes.

Iration seems to always top themselves with every show, so stay tuned for more shows in the near future!
