The Best In Reggae Rock
Stick Figure's - Set In Stone Tour concert with Fortunate Youth and Raging Fyah, at The Observatory North Park in San Diego on March 10, 2016, was an epic show to attend. Special appearances were made by Kyle McDonald of Slightly Stoopid & Maad T-Ray.
The ambiance inside the venue was cheerful as Raging Fyah opened with their smooth Roots Reggae Rock sound from Kingston, Jamaica. Their set captivated the audience, and the resounding reception ignited the evening. Next up was Fortunate Youth sharing their passionate message of love & positivity, as they have been consistent in sharing at each show. The vibes were primed and only grew stronger when Stick Figure opened with "Breathe". The set was filled with a balanced mix of songs from albums Burial Ground and Set In Stone , including a few from Smoke Stack and Burnin' Ocean. A Stick Figure show invites you to enter into a space of joy and envelopes you with a strong sense of unity that is genuinely transforming. True to Stick Figure's hit song "Smiles On Faces", the fans radiated smiles and danced the night away as they sang song lyrics in harmony with the band.
Stick Figure advances forward on the Set In Stone Tour, and will be playing at an assortment of festivals, including California Roots: The Carolina Sessions in Myrtle Beach, SC on April 9, 2016, and California Roots Festival in Monterey, CA on May 29, 2016, just to name a couple.
