The Best In Reggae Rock
Even though summer 2012 may be coming to an end, it's epicness isn't over just yet. For those who don't know, this summer has already produced new music releases from fan favorites like Slightly Stoopid, Tomorrows Bad Seeds and Seedless, and tours from artists like The Dirty Heads, 311 and Pepper; so it seems only fitting that such a summer be closed out by a show full of equally amazing bands. The 2nd Annual Shoreline Jam will return to the primetime, waterfront location alongside the historic Queen Mary in Long Beach on Saturday September 1st. The all day music festival boasting specialty food and beverage vendors will feature popular reggae and reggae-rock bands such as Tribal Seeds, Passafire and Ballyhoo!.
The lineup for this year's show will also include a performance by local heroes, Long Beach Dub Allstars. In spite of officially disbanding in 2002, L.B.D.A. will be reuniting for a special hometown appearance. Also gracing the stage will be world renowned reggae legends, The Wailers and Black Uhuru. The doors for the event will open at 11am and music will be kicked off at noon by local bands Brewfish, Sono Vero and Beyond I Sight. Be sure to get there early, not only for parking, but also to support all of the bands and enjoy the entire end of the summer party.
