With so many great bands it's hard to pick a few. Reggae, like most music, connects people from all walks of life. Festivals and just concerts in general help people meet others from all over with similar interests, music can help make friendships that last a lifetime. This year's Cali roots has an incredible lineup. I'm looking forward to seeing Stick Figure, SOJA, Steel Pulse, Rebelution, the Marley Brothers and 311. I've been "rooted" in California since '94 and I wouldn't have it any other way. Great weather, awesome music, good vibes :)

Growing up I always new my roots were in Cali, and my love was for music. This festival was made for us who love the arts and expecially the music. What more can a person ask for then Soja, Damian Marley, The Green, rebelution, the classic steel pulse and Alborise, all in one place! You guys should have asked who I wasn't excited to see, "nobody" would been less to type. Pick me, a 19 year old college student only look to have life experiences to go along with his education. Everyone going to this should feel blessed, I can only dream

Soja because I've never seen and I absolutey love the beats, Stick Figure because it's stick figure and I sing along to all there songs they have great lyrics I always relate to! 311, I have seen them in sd and I've loved them since my dad played them on the disc player, that whole concert I had goosebumps I was probably the one dancing all crazy in the crowd cause they are one damn good band baby!!!, and Ziggy Marley Iration more bands that have a beautiful feel and I always sing along!, Papa fish just great music never seen them, Rebelution is one of those bands I just love an there lyrics always relate to every situation I go through another beautiful band those guys jam out I've never been able to see them as we'll I know I know.. I'm missing out! and Damian Marley I've never been able to see he play some good hearty music!, oh boy and Pepper I've loved them forever I've never seen them live, they play some good tunes I always love when they come on cause you know they always have some good songs and sound real and pure I grew up with that band!, The Green!, The Movement, Hirie!,, Zion I! This music is good for my soul! Always start my day with the Rebelution station cause I know It plays the best bands of all!

i know everyone is super excited to see Damian and SOJA but does no one realize that the master of making the ultimate jams is playing! take a guess? Thats right the cicilian king himself Alboroise. He rarely plays in the states but when he does it must be quite the show! never seen him live and i'm hyped!
