A new year can mean a million different things to a million different people. However, for music fans, it only means two things: new music and new tours.
Pepper kicked off their new year by playing to a packed house in Agoura Hills on Thursday night. The talented trio, who finished off last year by playing a handful of shows with big bands like The Dirty Heads, did things a little different for the first show of their winter tour; for this show, Pepper was the only band on the bill. "We love you," said Kaleo. "We finished our last tour here in LA and we're starting this one here."
The boisterous bunch, who are known for being slightly unclothed and a tad bit uncouth, definitely didn't disappoint. With just as much intensity as ever, they rocked The Canyon Club. They played everything from "Freeze" and "No Control" to "Hunny Girl." They even brought a special fan up on stage to help them close out the show; 11 year old Matthew, aka "the 4th Pepper," who killed it on Bret's bass.
The first show of Pepper's winter tour was a huge success. They still have a completely uncontrollable energy and their personalities are still larger than life. With such a lethal combination, Pepper is sure to crush every show for the rest of their tour.
