My cousins from NZ moved in with my family years ago and introduced me to Katchafire in '02. The first song I heard was Giddy Up and its still a fav song of mine! I love Katchafire and would really really love tickets to their Park City show and a copy of their new album. Please pick me!!!!

I fell in love with Katchafire when I first heard "Get Away" 8 years ago. Since then I have collected all their albums and listened and enjoyed all their songs. I have converted my entire family to Katchafire, and at dinner parties, we have converted from BoB Marley to Katchafire.

Last year I travelled to New Zealand and my one goal to do while I was there was to see Katchafire in their homeland, (particular their hometown of Hamilton. The day I landed, I travelled up to a small town called Mangawhai on the north island on our way to visit family in Opononi. We camped and had no internet. The next morning we went into town and saw all these posters of a music event that Katchafire was headlining! My friend and I freaked out!! As we read the fine print, we realized that is was the night before and we missed it by less than 24 hours!!! After that they traveled to the South Island and then Australia so we missed them! I still have never seen them live and now that I am living full time in California and am finally going to see them on this tour. I would love tickets to 5/25 show in Anaheim, or even the 4/28 show in Santa Barbara! Either way I will see them, but would love free tickets or even meet the guys! They changed my life and their music always keeps me going!

Cheers!!

KATCHAFIRE get me IRIE! I would love tickets to the 5/25 show in Anaheim because I cannot go to their show @ the Nokia Club. I am seeing SOJA & Rootz Underground at the Nokia Club the night before and I am booked in a studio the whole next day! I wish I could be there but I can't! I love my island roots and Katchafire keep them alive! I hope to get tickets real bad because I didn't get to see them when they played around here last time.
Thanks so much, HAVE A GRATEFUL DAY
Shane

I became a fan of Katchafire with the "On the Road" album. It was a gift for my boyfriend from his new zealand brother-in-law. I heard the record for the first time in his car and it blew my mind with "Groove Again". That record is perfect: the lyrics, the quality of the sound, the voices, the art, everything. In that time, i was completely in love with the New Zealand reggae (well, i'm still in love). I don't know how but life give us the chance (to my bf and i) to travel from México to New Zealand for the NYE 2012. We saw there was many reggae festivals in NZ for NYE to see Katchafire live but it was very difficult to pick one: the distance, the money, the sold out tickets everywhere and the fact we didn't know anything about NZ besides the reggae. We deal some tickets for the Coromandel Gold, but Katchafire wasn't in the lineup. The weather for the festival was truly awful: too much mud, non-stop rain, cold, we weren't prepared for that (don't believe me? see for yourself http://tvnz.co.nz/national-news/coro-gold-going-ahead-despite-mud-a...), so we had to leave the event in the 2nd day. All the time we have been in NZ (almost a month) we were trying to see Katchafire and many other bands of NZ (only we could saw FFD and Trinity Roots) but we had no luck because of the holidays. We returned to México without seeing Katchafire. That's why i deserve some tickets! I was in NZ and i didn't have the chance to see Katchafire live!

(sorry if my english is weird)

Hi guys! Katchafire is one of my fav bands! I wear their bracelet everyday. They are from my homeland of New Zealand and it gives me so much pride when I get the chance to see them here. I saw them for the first time 10 years ago at the age of 13 in rotorua, NZ when they came out with their first single and they rocked it! Didn't see them again until I was living here. I would love to see them on 4/27 in Los Angeles. I may be biast but they are truly a talented band <3
