Tribal Seeds is back with their new album Representing dropping tomorrow, 5/13/14! The album debuted as #1 on iTunes for pre-order overall. Check out my interview with the band below and be sure to order your copy of the album on iTunes!!

You just finished your "Representing 2014 Tour".  How was the tour and what were the most memorable highlights for you?

Tour was great. Touring with New Kingston and Inna Vision was a great time. Great crowds and great energy at the shows. We had a few cities that did stand out but the nights we got to just vibe out and bump some tunes was a highlight for me.

Were there any current artists or specific ideas that influenced the new album?

One of our ideas for this album was to get some artists that we're fans of and some that we grew up listening to, to be featured on the album. We were so stoked to hear their voices over the music we made.

 

What can fans expect from Representing?

I feel this is some of our best work. The time we spent on the details of the music is the most work we've put in on an album. And I feel even though it's all reggae we do have a variety of styles of reggae.

There are so many amazing guest appearances on the album--(Don Carlos, New Kingston, Vaughn Benjamin, Michael Rose, Kyle McDonald from Slightly Stoopid). What was the best part about getting to work with so many talented artists?

That we actually got to work with them. Dream come true to get these guys on the album. Just blessed that they were a part of our work.

What is different about this album than past albums?

As I said the quality and production I feel is better. We've learned a lot throughout the years and feel it shows in the music.

What message do you hope to spread through your new album?

Our continued positive, uplifting, and militant message that we've always had in our music is present in our latest release as well.

What is next for Tribal Seeds?

With the release of the new album Representing we hope to tour internationally as well as continue to tour the states. And we're always working on new music.
