I'm really excited to see The Expanders jam out. The first time I heard them was when they opened for Rebelution and the Expendables in Hollywood and they put on such a great show. If the Palladium had some lawn chairs I would have kicked back, relaxed, and bobbed my head to the music with my best friends alongside of me. Their album is guaranteed the most played album on my spotify and I have the premium so ads don't disturb the rhythm haha It just flows so well for a mellow morning. This is one reason why I love going to festivals and shows to hear new music. Cali roots!!! As always, Tribal Seeds and Fortunate Youth have me excited to go. They always deliver!

Music is such a powerful weapon in our world today that seeing all the bands preforming and how they get their messages across would be amazing. Tribal Seeds and Fortunate Youth are two of my favorites to see live, so i will be most excited about that. The vibes at their shows are unreal. I agree 100% with Jazmine Alvarez's comment below. Her and I have discovered so many talented musicians together and having a best friend who also loves and appreciates reggae the way I do has truely been a blessing. This music uplifts the soul, so being able to experience and support so many talented bands would be a weekend to remember. Regardless of winning these tickets or not, her and I will definitely be attending. Lake Elsinor is quite a ways away from us, so gas, food, and possible hotel room does add up. So tickets would be helpful. Lol But congrats to whoever wins and can't wait to meet new people and listen to some sweet reggae music. Much love and respect to surf roots and all the bands playing at the festival!

I first found out about this festival through a text message my best friend sent me and got extremely stoked that it was somewhat close to us. Then when I found out that Spawnbreezy was going to be there I started crying of excitement. I have been trying to see him for the LONGEST time but every time he comes around its a week day or at a 21 n over venue. Now that I am able to see him I can't afford it and am pretty bumbed. I will do what it takes to finally get to see him, Tribal Seeds, Fortunate Youth, New Kingston, The Expanders, and E-40.Words cannot describe how much love and respect I have for these bands. They have all helped get me through a lot of things in my life. Only bringing good vibes and an irie state of mind. Jah bless!

So stoked on this festival! I'm for sure most excited to see Fortunate Youth, Tribal Seeds, The Expanders, and E-40. Bay Area rap is something that I grew up with, so it's always been a dream for me to see a legend like E-40 perform live. The lineup is insane and I love how there's a great mixture of vibes coming from different genres of music, whether it's more roots, rock, reggae, or dub. I'm also very excited to check out some new up-and-coming bands on the reggae scene like Iya Terra and to give them some good vibes and support. They work so hard and I have the most respect for bands like them.

I'm most excited to see Tribal Seeds & Fortunate Youth. Two of the best Reggae bands out there right now! Other than Tribal Seeds & FY, the other Reggae bands on the lineup are awesome as well! From the minute I first heard Reggae, I fell in love. Reggae music has made a HUGE impact on my life and the person that I am. It has completely changed my mentality. It has opened my eyes, changed my perception of the world and other people, & has inspired me to keep a positive mind. Through Reggae music, I have also been able to meet some amazing, beautiful people. This includes the artists, they are some of the most humble/grateful people I've had the privilege of meeting. The way that I feel when I see how this music unites people and spreads such incredible messages and vibes is not even possible to explain. The feeling of being at a live Reggae show is like no other feeling. I feel so blessed to have been introduced to Reggae & to be able to go to shows. This music is one of the main things in my life that keeps me happy and keeps me going everyday. I could go on for days about my passion for Reggae lol but big thanks to everyone at Surf Roots for helping to spread this life changing music. Mad respect, sending good vibes your way!

One of the bay areas finest rappers and a handful of so cals finest reggae artists, how can I miss this?! I remember the first time I was introduced to Tribal Seeds in 07 when I lived in Maui, my friends band opened for them and I instantly fell in love. From that day forward I really starited to get into ways of rastafari and just spreading the positivity and the love of Jah..well that's it in a nutshell hope to be able to promote Surf Roots Radio at the fest, thanks for the opportunity and keep the music coming! Bless Up #StayIrieMyFriends
